Gallery Guesthouse is a stone built, 8 bedroom Victorian townhouse of considerable character and architectural interest. It maintains many of the original features from when it was built in 1887.
The Guesthouse is run by friendly and welcoming resident proprietors Karen and Chris Edwards, both Ex Royal Air Force who fully appreciate the importance of an informative and attentive service and will be on hand to offer advice and assistance to make your visit to Plymouth as enjoyable as possible.
Ideally situated opposite the University of Plymouth the Guesthouse is perfectly placed for bars, restaurants and excellent transport links of the City Centre, Mutley Plain and North Hill. The railway station is a 5 minute walk or a very short taxi ride.
This is a great location from which to explore the centre of Plymouth, with its theatres, restaurants and the historic, yet cosmopolitan Barbican area close by. It is an ideal place to stay for business or leisure and perfect for a romantic weekend break.
We have four general room types:
All our en suite rooms are newly refurbished, tastefully decorated and have new crisp white linen, fluffy white towels, tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen multi channel televisions, as well as free WiFi throughout.
All prices are per room per night and include breakfast, WiFi and on-site parking, but may vary dependent on the number of people in your party and the length of your stay.
All standard rooms have a private shower and sink in the bedroom with a shared toilet located just outside of the rooms, on the landing – so no long trek down stairs.
